Laundry Sheets & Powder FAQ: Use, Dosage and Choosing

TWIGGY PRODUCT QUESTIONS

Here we answer your questions about our products, laundry sheets, fragrance descriptions and choosing what fits your routine. For dosage, ingredients and precautions, please follow the latest label.

What is Twiggy?

We are Twiggy, a home-care brand from Chengdu, China. We focus on thoughtful formulas, solid cleaning formats and reduced-plastic packaging. Our Chinese name is 吐枝.

Are Twiggy and 吐枝 the same brand?

Yes. Our bilingual name is 吐枝 Twiggy, and we use Twiggy in English.

Where should a laundry sheet go in the washing machine?

Unless the product label says otherwise, place the sheet directly in the empty drum before adding laundry. Do not assume it belongs in a dispenser designed only for liquid or powder.

How many laundry sheets should I use?

Follow the dosage on the product label. Load size, soil level, water volume and water hardness can change the amount needed. Pre-treat localised heavy stains where appropriate.

Can laundry sheets be used in a front-loading washer?

Most sheets labelled for machine washing can be used in front-loading machines. Put the sheet in the drum before the clothes and follow both product and machine instructions.

What should I do if a laundry sheet does not fully dissolve?

Remove residue, rinse the affected area and check for overloading, trapping between garments, low water volume or a programme that is too short.

Does fragrance-free always mean there is no smell?

Not necessarily. A product without added fragrance may still have a mild scent from its raw materials. “Unscented”, “fragrance-free” and “odourless” should not be treated as identical terms.

Is an unscented product automatically suitable for sensitive skin?

No. Fragrance preference, scent sensitivity, irritation and allergy are different issues. Check the full ingredient information and use conditions, and seek professional advice when individual health concerns apply.

How much Twiggy laundry powder is in a level scoop?

Our supplied level scoop holds approximately 10–15 g. This is a weight reference, not a fixed dose for every load. Read our laundry-powder dosing guide for load size, measurement and automatic-dispenser checks.

What should I check if laundry powder leaves white marks?

Review the measured dose, placement, water temperature, load size, programme and machine condition. White marks are not always detergent residue. Our seven-check residue guide explains how to narrow down the problem.

How do I choose between natural laundry soap and detergent powder?

Start with the washing task, water conditions and product directions. A laundry soap bar for local pretreatment is not an automatic replacement for a machine-wash powder. Compare the formats and our powder variants in our natural laundry soap and detergent powder guide.

Where can I find help with hard water and stiff towels?

We explain water readings and detergent choices in our hard-water laundry guide, and dose, conditioning and drying in our stiff-towel guide. Choose the guide that matches what changed in your wash.

What water information helps me choose laundry powder?

Look for total hardness and its unit, and check whether that information applies to the washer supply. A TDS reading is not the same as hardness. Our water-report checklist explains what to look for before adjusting a dose.

How can I compare the cost per wash of sheets, powder and liquid?

Use the actual paid price and each product’s directed dose for comparable loads. Keep units consistent: grams with grams, millilitres with millilitres, or sheets with sheets. A pack count is not automatically a wash count. Include extra pretreatment and repeat-wash detergent when comparing spending.

How should I store opened laundry powder?

We recommend keeping the original labelled pack closed, using a dry scoop and storing it in a dry place away from children and pets. If the powder is wet, hard-set or its condition is unclear, keep the pack and batch information and contact us before continuing to use it.

Is laundry soap the same as shampoo soap paste?

No. Our 120 g coconut-oil laundry soap is for compatible clothing cleaning and local pretreatment. Our herbal shampoo soap paste is a separate hair-cleansing product. Choose by the stated purpose and follow each product’s own directions, rather than treating the word soap as a shared use instruction.
